    Chef Angus An is one of Vancouver’s most prolific chef-restaurateurs, with a slate of notable Thai eateries in his restaurant family: Fat Mao Noodles (Chinatown), Fat Mao Noodles (Downtown), Longtail Kitchen, Maenam, Sen Pad Thai and Mekong. From family-style dining, to one-bowl-meals, to riffs on Thai street food, chef An’s restaurants are all driven by flavour.

    EXECUTIVE CHEF

    Chef Bonnie, born in Bangkok, Thailand, brings a world of culinary experience to her role at Mekong. With a career spanning Italian fine dining at The St. Regis Bangkok to mastering Thai flavors under Chef Angus An at Maenam and Longtail Kitchen, her expertise reflects her passion for authentic Southeast Asian cuisine. At Mekong, she creates comforting, home-style dishes inspired by the warmth and love of family meals.

    GENERAL MANAGER

    Colin, a talented Whistler hospitality veteran, brings extensive experience from Banff, Australia, and renowned restaurants like Bearfoot Bistro and Araxi. Passionate about fine dining, wine, and creating memorable guest experiences, he now leads Mekong, ensuring every visit feels warm and welcoming. When not curating exceptional dining experiences, Colin enjoys exploring the great outdoors in Whistler.

    BAR MANAGER

    Michael blends technical skill and creativity in Mekong's cocktail program. Originally from Ottawa, he honed his craft over five years in Whistler, specializing in advanced gastronomy techniques. Known for his precision and passion for ingredients, Michael creates innovative drinks that elevate both flavor and presentation, leaving a lasting impression on locals and newcomers alike.
